  • Setting up a corporation, statutory close corporation, sub-chapter S corporation, limited liability company or limited liability partnership (LLC or LLP),  and working with your accountant to determine which form of organization is right for you  – Fees are usually a set fee for the service which includes costs of filing with state and federal agencies with a portion of the fee and costs being paid in advance
  • Setting up a buy-sell agreement for an existing business or at the same time a new business in being organized  –  Fees would be either a set fee or an hourly fee with a retainer paid in advance, depending on the complexity of the agreement and the number of parties involved – Normally each party to the agreement would have his or her own attorney review the document before signing
  • Reviewing franchise agreement and other contracts which have long-term consequences or high dollar consequences for your business
